Joey Guecio
Josep Guercio (gware-cho) grew up playing guitar in metal bands as a teenager before switching to solo acoustic instrumental music in his 20s. He now creates musical stories without words that take your mind on it's own journey. His compositions uniquely blend beautiful/uplifting vibes with dissonant/melancholic undertones, pulling from influences across folk, american primitive, metal, punk, progressive rock, and classical, creating an energy showcasing that beauty can be found in the dark. Josep has self recorded and released 3 EP's (Silo Sessions I, II, & III) under the name "The Ramblin' Shadow". The songs on these EP's were self recorded inside an abandoned corn silo, giving them a rather raw and primitive energy. Right meow he is working on a full length album titled "Don't Give up the Ship" which will explore mental health, trauma, loss, healing, redemption, and love. You can find him playing at open mics in Harford County or by chance at a state park on a random tuesday. If you cross paths with him on your travels please be sure to tell him "meow" unprovoked, it will make his day!
